Day 1: SEOUL → DAEJEON (SOLMOE SHRINE) → SEOSAN (BLD)

Solmoe Shrine an important Catholic pilgrimage site in Korea and the birthplace of St. Andrew Kim Taegon. It offers a peaceful setting to reflect on the faith and the history of Korea’s early Catholic community

Seosan Haemi International Sanctuary a Vatican-designated international pilgrimage site in Korea, honoring the martyrs who died for their faith in the region

Haemi Eupseong Fortress a military stronghold and administrative center, also a historically significant site where many Catholics were imprisoned and executed during the persecutions of the 19th century Dangjin, near Daejeon. One of the most important Catholic sites in Korea.

Day 2: BORYEONG → JEONJU (BLD)

Galmaemot Martyrs Sacred Place A site associated with the imprisonment and trial of St. Andrew Kim Taegon, the first Korean Catholic priest, before his martyrdom in 1846.

Jeondong Cathedral A historic Catholic cathedral in Jeonju built in 1914, standing on the site where many Korean Catholics were martyred during the early persecutions.

Jeonju Hanok Village A traditional Korean village featuring over 700 hanok houses, where visitors can experience Korean culture, architecture, and local food.

Day 3: BOEUN → GANGNEUNG (BLD)

Meongemok Shrine A Catholic pilgrimage site honoring the Korean martyrs who were executed here during the 1866 persecution.

Beopjusa Temple (UNESCO) A historic Buddhist temple founded in the 6th century and part of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Sansa, Buddhist Mountain Monasteries in Korea.

Gangneung City A coastal city on Korea’s east coast known for its beautiful beaches, coffee culture, and scenic views of the East Sea.

Day 4: GANGNEUNG → & KOREA’S EAST COAST (BLD)

Jeongdong Simgok Badabuchae-gil (Sea coast) – A scenic coastal walking trail in Gangneung D: Included offering dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations, and beautiful views of the East Sea.

Gangneung Local Market A lively traditional market where visitors can experience local street food, seafood, and the vibrant atmosphere of Gangneung.

Day 5: JECHEON → SEOUL (BLD)

Baeron Shrine A Catholic pilgrimage site where Korea’s first Catholic seminary was established in 1855. It is closely associated with Fr. Thomas Choe Yang-eop, who served and trained seminarians during the time of persecution.

Myeongdong Cathedral & Street Shopping A historic Catholic cathedral built in 1898 and the main cathedral of the Archdiocese of Seoul, located near one of Seoul’s most famous shopping districts.

Day 6: SEOUL- CANADA (B)
